Daniel Lee, Ph.D.

Dr. Lee is the Director of Business Development at Convergent Science. In this role, he plays an integral part in numerous activities related to CFD software and services. These tasks include revenue generation, marketing, distributor relations, SBIR management and funded development.

Prior to joining Convergent Science, Dr. Lee spent seven years as a senior engineer at another leading CFD software vendor working in the design and analysis of Aerospace and Marine thermal/fluid systems. He specialized in the simulation of the two phase turbulent reacting flows found within propulsion systems such as gas turbine engines and solid rocket motors.

Dr. Lee has a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Engine Research Center. His research involved the development of advanced spray combustion algorithms along with LES modeling.
