Eric Pomraning, Ph.D.

Dr. Pomraning is a co-founder of Convergent Science Inc. and he is currently a vice president there. His work is focused on the development and marketing of the computational fluid dynamics code CONVERGE™. Specifically, he worked on developing the numerical algorithms, turbulence models, combustion models, and adaptive mesh refinement for CONVERGE™.

Dr. Pomraning has authored numerous papers on large eddy simulation (LES) turbulence modeling, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), multi-dimensional engine simulation, spray, and combustion modeling. Prior to starting Convergent Science, he was a research associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Engine Research Center.
