Expert consulting and development for KIVA users

Although Convergent Science always recommends that CONVERGE™ be used for simulations, we offer KIVA enhancements and consulting services for users who have not yet switched to CONVERGE™. Before CONVERGE™ was developed, Convergent Science used KIVA extensively for consulting and as such we are expert KIVA users.

Available KIVA Enhancements and Consulting

  • Unlike CONVERGE™, KIVA grids can take weeks or months to create for complicated geometries. To reduce grid generation time and improve grid quality, Convergent Science has developed the KIVA grid generation tool G-Smooth.
  • Convergent Science has developed an automatic mesh generator for KIVA sector meshes.
  • The SAGE parallel detailed chemistry solver can be added to your version of KIVA (SAE Paper 2003-01-1043).
  • Multi-mode genetic algorithm (GA) geometry optimization (SAE Paper 2002-01-0958).
  • Numerous KIVA model improvements.
