Grid Size Scaling

CONVERGE™ includes a grid size scaling option that includes the following features:

• The entire grid can be scaled up or down in resolution automatically.
• Scaling can be done on-the-fly (as the simulation is running) or at pre-determined times.
• Useful for transient problems where portions of the simulation do not require as much accuracy.
• Helps accelerate convergence in steady flows, allowing rapid convergence at low resolutions, followed by successive refinement of the entire mesh.
