Gas Turbine Combustion Training Seminar

July 12, 2018 3:00 AM – 12:00 PM EDT Cincinnati, OH - US
Gas Turbine Combustion Training Seminar
Millennium Hotel Cincinnati
150 West 5th Street
Cincinnati, OH - US
Join Convergent Science and several partners following the AIAA Joint Propulsion Conference for a training seminar demonstrating CONVERGE CFD for gas turbine combustion. This training seminar will focus on describing and demonstrating the use of CONVERGE to model key gas turbine combustion processes such as flame shape, emissions, ignition, and wall cooling for liquid and gaseous fuel engines. Experts from Convergent Science and partners IFPEN and Argonne National Laboratory will describe how to apply CONVERGE to both practical and academic gas turbine combustion cases. Presenters will discuss best practices for modeling gas turbine combustion and review training materials and example CONVERGE case setups for key validation cases.
