You must be using AMD GPUs to run CONVERGE on Linux with HIP and Open MPI.

 

An example command to run CONVERGE with HIP and Open MPI on 16 CPU cores using 16 GPUs is

 

mpirun -np 16 -x PATH -x LD_LIBRARY_PATH -x CONVERGE_ROOT -x OPAL_PREFIX converge-hip-ompi

 

The -x arguments are necessary to export the required environment variables to the remote nodes.
