In the biomedical field, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations are a low-cost, non-invasive method to gain insight into key physiological processes and to evaluate the efficacy of medical devices and interventions. CONVERGE is an advanced CFD solver that offers a number of advantages for biomedical simulations, including simple case setup, a library of relevant physical models, and built-in post-processing and data analysis capabilities. The key differentiator of CONVERGE is its autonomous meshing feature, which can easily handle complex, moving biological geometries and refines the grid in the locations where it’s needed most to capture important physical phenomena. In this webinar, we’ll demonstrate how you can create a CAD geometry from a CT scan, build a motion profile for that geometry, and run your simulation in CONVERGE.
